Dr. Alvin J. Stosich was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. He graduated with high honors from Idaho State University in 1998. In 2002, Dr. Stosich earned his DDS from Creighton University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He earned his MD in 2005 and a Certificate of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2007 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center while serving as the Chief Resident.
In 2007, Dr. Stosich started Utah Center for Oral & Facial Surgery. In 2015, he acquired Flint Oral Surgery and created Utah Oral and Facial Surgeons. Dr. Stosich created Aspire Surgical in 2017, where he served as President and Partner Surgeon, specializing in facial reconstruction, facial trauma, cosmetic facial surgery, and oral implantology. Currently, Dr. Stosich serves on Specialty Dental Brands’ Clinical Advisory Board, where he is involved with growth and development as a surgeon and a partner doctor.
Dr. Stosich is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Utah Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Society of Laser Medicine.
When Dr. Stosich isn’t providing his patients with exceptional care, he enjoys spending time with his wife and six children, skiing, mountain biking, dirt biking, surfing, boating, cycling, golfing, and scuba diving. He’s a certified Nitrox diver and has an Advanced Open Water Diver Certification! Dr. Stosich cares deeply about serving his community in meaningful ways, including volunteering at his church and with Smiles for Latin America.
